Who works for FACS?
Our Board of Directors, along with 125 individual volunteers, operate the organization in various capacities under our Director's guidance.

Do you shop at Kroger?
Do you shop at Kroger? You can earn dollars for FACS simply by shopping and it costs you nothing!

We have free Kroger Neighborhood Rewards cards available in our Pantry. Call us or stop in and we’ll be happy to give you one. You add the dollar amount to your card you desire and shop. The Kroger card works like a debit card. Every purchase you make generates funds for our Food Pantry.

Do you shop on-line?
If so, please start your shopping at
www.goodsearch.com. When you start your on-line shopping there, a percentage of your purchases will be donated back to FACS and it doesn’t cost you anything! Follow the directions to make sure FACS receives the contribution.

Do you want to get involved?
Volunteer! Over 100 volunteers donate time, talents, and energy to operate the pantry, accept donations, unload trucks, work with clients and work on special programs. We can match your interest with volunteer work.

Above, volunteers unload the truck from Shared Harvest to restock the pantry after the August 2011 renovation shut down.

Host a Food Drive! Your club, church, business, or neighborhood may wish to organize a collection for items to donate. Nonperishable foods and toiletry items are always needed.

Help with fundraising!
Does your group have a fundraising idea for our agency? We’d love to chat with you!

Monetary Donations! United Way is our primary funding source, but FACS greatly depends on private, business, church, and government donations. The more our funding increases, the more families we can assist. Many needs are not being addressed due to lack of resources. Mail a check--donations are tax-deductible--(no cash, please) to FACS, 345 S. Main St, Franklin, OH 45005

Be A Sponsor! Help finance one of our special programs such as our Back-To-School program.

April 14, 2011: Macy's "Bag Hunger"
Macy's "Bag Hunger" Campaign brought a truckload of food to the FACS Food Pantry on April 14, 2011. This food was donated by employees of Macy's Credit and Customer Service in Mason, OH.

FACS Board Member Tanya Simpson brought a crew of Macy's employees to unload the food at the FACS building.

Tanya also brought monetary donations and Macy's Matching Gifts Forms where employees' contributions will by matched.

Our 2010 Back to School Event
August 12 and 13 were the FACS Back to School distribution days. 300 area children, grades K - 8, were provided with brand new backpacks and school supplies. There were many smiling faces on the children as they received their backpacks. Program coordinator, Helen Miracle, did a terrific job administering the 2010 Back to School Program.  Helen enlisted her granddaughter, Kelli Blanton, along with eight other members of her family to help, making this project a real "family affair."

The Back to School Program was made possible through a generous donation made by St. Paul Lutheran Church and a matching grant from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

Thanksgiving Program
FACS helped 320 families enjoy their Thanksgiving holiday by distributing turkeys and holiday food. The outreach took place on November 18th for residents currently registered at the Food Pantry. The program was sponsored by two Springboro residents who wish to remain anonymous.  Partner with us and we will get the job done!
