2021 HOLIDAY PROGRAMS
To be eligible for these programs you must be fully registered with the FACS Food Pantry in 2021. Fully registered clients have a current registration on file including proof of residence.
On Thursday November 18th starting at 9:30am we will be distributing turkeys and holiday food on a first come first served basis. No sign up is needed. Present your photo ID and Food Pantry Card to be eligible. Masks are required. Social distancing is required.
Christmas Children’s Gifts
Sign-ups will start on Wednesday November 3rd at the Food Pantry starting at 11:00am. Sign-ups will be accepted until our limit is reached. Children under 18 are eligible. Present your photo ID and Food Pantry Card. Masks are required. Social Distancing is required.
We’re not just a Food Pantry! We have programs to meet many needs!
Food Assistance: Families may visit our food pantry once per month. We provide families with baskets containing 5 days of groceries.
Commodity Supplemental Food Program: FACS is a distribution site for a supplemental food resource for income eligible Warren County seniors 60 and older. We have applications for CSFP and will be happy to assist interested seniors.
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Outreach: A representative from Shared Harvest will meet with individuals to determine if they are eligible to receive SNAP, assist with the application, and work to ensure that clients’ rights are maintained during the application process.
Financial Assistance: The agency provides limited, emergency financial aid to qualified clients as funds permit for the following categories: Duke Energy and Dayton Power and Light disconnection notices; water shutoff notices; and prescriptions.
Service Representative for Salvation Army and EFS—Emergency Food and Shelter.
Special Programs such as Thanksgiving Baskets and Christmas Gifts
Homelessness Prevention Rapid Rehousing Program: The FACS Director may make referrals for qualified clients facing potential evictions and homelessness. Clients must have a sustainable income and be willing to attend budget counseling sessions to be considered for HPRP.
Information and Referral: The agency works to guide clients to appropriate agencies and resources that can provide long-term solutions to their challenges.
To provide emergency assistance to residents of the Franklin, Springboro, and Carlisle areas. This service is intended to provide the time clients need to arrange long-term solutions through other agencies, friends, and family.

Franklin Area Community Services is a non-profit (501c3) organization serving Franklin, Springboro, and Carlisle, including Franklin and Clearcreek Townships. Operating funds come from United Way of Warren County and donations from government agencies, organizations, and individuals.
